Thank you thank you thank you.  Looks like she's talking about the famous Fringe Festival in Edinburgh.  Besides this fest, I am also itching, no, dying, to go to 1) Toronto Film Festival and 2) Frankfurt's book festival.  Monkey year horse month, gaze through autumn water...

Not much about Edinburgh itself.  Mostly about their street show.  Vomiting and leg cramps are indeed connected, because vomiting leads to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance -- then muscle cramps.  

没有哎，呕的是一个，抽筋的是另一个。连在一起写，可能为了点明命运冥冥的操控，等等。

不知道她去做什么表演，随舞团还是个人身份。拿政府资助，难道是艺术节文化交流之类。

她上次说要以英文写作，不知怎样了。

She could be talking about either the classical festival or the (more famous and unique) fringe festival.  It's impossible to tell from her feverish and modernistic narrative in the article.  One would hardly be enticed to Edinburgh by her writing, but trust me it is an astounding city.  I loved it.  OTOH, I'm obsessed with traveling to old cities so take it with a grain of salt.

对于我来说，大部分旅行里最愉快的事就是在旅馆里睡觉……

几次结伴出游，夜生活都是在旅馆打扑克牌。好像出门就是为了千里迢迢跑去打异乡扑克似的。
